Our Commitment to Accuracy

StormRoofQuotes.com is an independent, ad-supported publisher of storm-recovery and roofing information operated by Franklyns Bay LLC. We work to keep our published content accurate, current, and clearly sourced. When we learn that something we published is inaccurate, out of date, or unclear, we review it and correct it. This page explains how to tell us about a problem and how we handle it.

This policy applies to the editorial content we publish ourselves — our guides, articles, calculators, and reference material. It does not govern advertising placed by third parties (see the Advertiser Content section below).

How to Report an Error

If you believe any content on this Site is inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or infringes someone's rights, please tell us. The fastest way is email:

Report an Inaccuracy

Email: [email protected]
Subject Line: Correction Request
Mailing Address: Franklyns Bay LLC, 507 NE 17th Ct, Crystal River, FL 34428

To help us review your request quickly, please include: (1) the page URL or title, (2) the specific statement you believe is inaccurate, (3) what you believe the correct information is, and (4) a source or reason supporting the correction, if you have one.

How We Handle Corrections

When we receive a report, we review the flagged content against reliable sources. Our general approach is:

We reserve editorial discretion over how content is worded and whether a change is required, but we take every good-faith report seriously.

Corrections vs. Routine Updates

Not every change to a page is a "correction." We routinely refresh content — updating figures, adding new information, improving clarity, or reflecting changes in law or market conditions — as part of ordinary publishing. We reserve the right to edit, update, expand, or remove any content at any time without notice. A "correction" or "retraction," by contrast, specifically addresses a factual error or a statement we have determined should not stand.

Retractions

In rare cases where a piece of content contains a significant factual error, cannot be adequately corrected, or should not have been published, we may retract it. When we retract content, we remove or clearly mark the affected material and, where appropriate, add a brief note explaining that the content was retracted and when. We may also update or retract content in response to a valid legal notice, an intellectual-property complaint, or a privacy concern.

Advertiser and Third-Party Content

Some placements on this Site are clearly-labeled paid advertising. Advertisers are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of their own advertisements and any claims they make. This corrections policy governs our editorial content, not advertiser copy. If you have a concern about a specific advertisement, please email [email protected] with the subject line "Advertisement Concern," and we will review it and, where appropriate, contact the advertiser or remove the placement.

For intellectual-property complaints regarding content on this Site, please also see the notice-and-takedown process described on our Copyright page.
