This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from homeowners and visitors, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
StormRoofQuotes is a lead-generation and referral service. We are not a roofing contractor. Our purpose is to connect homeowners who request a roof inspection or quote with independent, third-party roofing contractors. Because of this, a core part of our service involves sharing the information you submit with those roofing contractors so they can contact you. Please read Section 4 carefully.
When you submit a free-inspection or quote request, we collect the information you provide, which typically includes your name, phone number, email address, property address and ZIP code, and details about your roof or storm-damage concern. We also record the date, time, and the consent you provide when you submit a form.
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and similar usage data through cookies and similar technologies.
Roofing contractors and marketing partners. The information you submit through a request form — including your name, contact details, and property information — is shared with one or more independent third-party roofing contractors and/or marketing partners so that they may contact you about your request. These contractors are independent businesses, not employees or agents of StormRoofQuotes, and once your information is shared, their use of it is governed by their own privacy practices.
Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services for us, such as hosting, analytics, form processing, and communications delivery.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Franklyns Bay LLC, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If Franklyns Bay LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your information for money. However, because we share contact information with third-party roofing and marketing partners, this sharing may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state privacy laws. See Section 8 for your opt-out rights.
By submitting a request form and checking the consent box, you provide your prior express written consent for StormRoofQuotes and the roofing contractors and partners we share your information with to contact you at the phone number and email address you provided — including through automatic telephone dialing systems, artificial or prerecorded voice messages, and SMS/text messages — regarding your inspection or quote request and related roofing services.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. You may withdraw consent or ask not to be contacted by emailing us at [email protected]; note that contractors who already received your information may need to be contacted directly.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and engagement; Google may use this data as described in its own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. Because we share contact information with third-party roofing and marketing partners, you may exercise your right to opt out by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
We retain your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations (including maintaining records of consent), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
